Wash Bay Attendant

Full Time (M-F, 8:00AM-5:00PM)
(1 Hour Lunch)

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License

• High school diploma or the equivalent

• Ability to interact well with others and maintain appropriate conduct

• Ability to operate pressure washing equipment, disconnect and reconnect hoses to chemical supply containers as needed

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

• This position requires the ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis

• The essential functions of this position require a person to work with hazardous or flammable materials; AND/OR to complete tasks in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, including without limitation the operating, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles

• Willingness to work the required schedule, complete employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pressure washing, brushing, and applying chemicals to tractor-trailers

• Understanding wash chemical effects on various finish types and adjusting the concentration as needed (training provided)

• Maintain work area by cleaning and removing debris, store hoses in designated areas when not in use

• Understand MSDS labels and HAZCOM procedures (training provided)

• Provide Friendly customer service
